About Eighty Creative
Eighty Creative is a interiors studio founded by two friends, Alicia Pfeffele and Tara Richards-Gladstone. Our studio is the result of a combination of love of interiors, a love of homes and practical minds.
We want to create interior design solutions that don’t break the bank, don’t require a whole house renovation and offer tangible, really accessible advice using makers, good shops and stores, and generally creating a home that is creative and stylish, but also practical. Initially this was aimed at younger people, first home buyers, first projects and so on, but we know that everyone is always tinkering with their homes, they just might not know where to start.
If this sounds like you, then we’d love to help.
We have both had a long-term interest in interior design and in homes. Alicia has been working in this world for years, and Tara has always considered it a love and an interest
A few years ago, Tara started working on some re-decoration projects, while Alicia was working on a large project in Malta. We are always putting together mood board after mood board, mock up after mock up. We obsess and pore over the minutiae of a room’s style and set up. We’re both so similar, and are forever moving our homes around, whether it’s large furniture or the small trinkets on a shelf. It all matters, and it all makes a difference to how a person feels in their space.
In 2025 we both got pregnant, and during a normal catch up, we realised that we both had a very similar idea for a new business. And so Eighty Creative was born. We think there is a gap in the world of interior design and decoration, and we want to fill it.
This gap - we believe - is a service for those who might be buying their first home, or have smaller budgets, or may have much more specific requirements than a whole house, large budget, bespoke-furniture and bespoke-paint-mixes type of interior design project might require. This is where the idea for a tiered system struck us - we think clients should be able to tailor their service based on their needs, and we know how much those needs can vary.
